RELINES (per arch)

800

  • Relines are necessary when changes in your gums have occurred either through bone loss or extraction of natural dentition causing shrinkage. If your dentures are less than 5 years old and feeling loose, you may require a reline!

REPAIRS (per arch)

250-550

  • Although dentures are made from a strong acrylic material known as Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) they are not indestructible! Teeth can break out, dentures can fracture, frameworks can bend, and acrylic can warp. It is important that if a full break has occurred you do not glue it back together yourself because if the pieces are not glued exactly in the correct position it will cause an imbalance leading to further breakage or other damage to your oral cavity. Some glues may also be toxic.

ACRYLIC PARTIALS (per arch)

2250

  • Acrylic partials replace one or more missing teeth but not all. They are made of acrylic and in some cases the addition of metal clasps to the natural teeth are present for added retention. These are meant to be used as a temporary measure until more extensive treatment can be completed as long term wear may lead to gum recession. They do not posess the same strength as metal cast partials thus they are more prone prone to breakage when compared to the cast metal partials.

METAL PARTIAL CASTINGS (per arch)

2500

  • Metal Partial castings replace one or more missing teeth but not all (hence partial). They differ from acrylic partials as they are made up of two materials, generally chromium cobalt metal which composes the framework and Polymethyl methacrylate which makes up the remainder of the partial denture including the false teeth. They are considered a more long-term treatment option when compared to that of the acrylic partial denture. They are more expensive then the acrylic partial dentures.

COMPLETE DENTURES (per arch)

2300

  •  complete dentures are for the completely edentulous patient (No natural teeth remaining on either upper and/or lower ridges). It will take approximately 5 appointments plus a check-up appointment to make the dentures. Our fast track dentures can be completed over two consecutive days by appointment only, contact us to find out more...

SINGLE TOOTH FLIPPERS without clasps (per arch)

1035

  • This is also known as an Acrylic partial, it replaces one missing tooth often in the anterior. They are made of acrylic and in some cases the addition of metal clasps to the natural teeth are present for added grip. These are meant to be used as a temporary measure until more extensive treatment can be completed; it is often the cheapest route for replacing a missing tooth. They are highly prone to breakage and mainly used for cosmetic reasons. They are not meant to be used for chewing.

IMMEDIATE DENTURES (per arch)

2650

  • Immediate dentures are placed IMMEDIATELY after the removal of natural dentition and are often inserted on the same day of your extractions at the Dentist's office. This treatment is often chosen by those who don’t want to go without teeth (see alternative option for post-extraction dentures). This type of denture is considered transitional as the gums will change throughout the healing process. A reline is recommended from 6 months - 1 year following the extractions to re-fit the denture base.

POST-EXTRACTION DENTURES (per arch)

2600

  • POST-EXTRACTION dentures are fabricated once the gums have had some time to heal (approx 2 weeks) following the removal of natural dentition. There are options for both partial dentures and complete dentures to be placed post-extraction. This type of treatment option is beneficial to those that do not necessarily require teeth immediately following tooth extractions as it allows the gums to partially heal for an improved fit and better esthetics (see alternative option Immediate Dentures)

TEMPORARY LINER (per arch)

250-500

  • Temporary liners or tissue conditioners are often used when the gums are undergoing drastic changes such as following the extraction of natural dentition. The Temporary liners are placed in either immediate or post-extraction dentures to offer better comfort during the healing phase. The length of time in which a temporary liner will last can often vary depending on how quickly the healing process occurs.

SOFT PERMANENT DENTURE LINERS (per arch)

445

  • Soft permanent denture liners can offer more comfort for those with severely resorbed lower ridges. The downside is that soft liners are more porous affecting its longevity and hygiene. On average, these permanent soft liners will last up to 2 years before requiring replacement.

REMOVABLE IMPLANT RETAINED DENTURES (per arch)

3200

  • Removable Implant retained dentures are removable dentures that are held in place either partly or entirely by implants embedded in the bone. Common removable implant retained denture systems are locator attachments and hader clips. For locators: the liners, abutments, and housing can wear out and require servicing. For Hader bar attachment system: the hader clips or the bar can wear out and require servicing.
